Why do we always make things more dramatic than they should be?

I log on to yahoo! messenger and I see girls with those usual "parinig" or emo stat messages like "I wish it wasn't this complicated" or "It shouldn't really matter but it does" or other dramatic stat messages like that.. all pertaining to that one thing we all secretly dread the most... LOVE.

The boy-girl relationship.
If you ask me, this is what really what makes the world go 'round. It's inevitable. If it's not boy-girl, as much as I would hate to admit it, it could be girl-girl or boy-boy, or even more worth praising, person-God. We can't help it. We are interdependent beings. The thing is, this interdependence leads to relationships. Relationships lead to self-expression, and self-expression can start from love and happiness to bitterness and hatred.

Speaking of interdependence, I am also, with much shame, dependent on the internet- well atleast for this summer only. Therefore my daily routine of logging on to Yahoo! messenger, multiply, myspace, friendster, etc. never seems to be left undone.
Yesterday I logged on to multiply and I watched a video of my "friend" doing this activity with a girl(nothing malicious. I just dont wanna state the activity for privacy's sake.We never know who might be reading this. haha). Yeah sure he does that often. The first time I watched it, it was fine. I was like.. naaa.. it's just work. The next time I watched it, I took a closer look and tried to be sensitive with other things like eye contact, body language, etc. Dang, it looked different. So here comes my point. After watching, I was sad, pissed, and in denial. (haha) To even think that there really was nothing going on between me and that friend. I was admiring him from afar. I was in the usual condition of an average girl who can't do more than wait for someone she admires who might or might not come. In my case, this "friend" of mine did not even show signs of coming closer, and it was worse watching him from afar possibly falling into another girl's arms.
A stab. That's exactly how it felt like.
Why?

I dunno. I just feel like it. It sounds more dramatic! haha :))

Ok. here comes the alter ego. Reading the stuff above, didn't you think that it was so melo-dramatic? Probably not, because I'm guessing 75% of teenage girls write that way nowadays and if you were a teenage boy/ girl, you would be sooo used to it. You agree?
Like what I said, why do we always make things more dramatic than they should be?!?

Pardon me but this teenage drama spells out S-T-U-P-I-D. Life is light and simple. Life is bright and beautiful. We unconciously put excess baggage on our backs making everyday less enjoyable than it really is.

I'm writing this to give light to the other girls out there.

Before this entry, I was also a victim of the hot boy obsession. You are a victim of this if you are addicted to the local hearthrob or addicted to any other boy who is not as addicted to you.  We tend to get our hopes up, feel the usual "kilig" and yes, while it lasts,  it does feel great. The only problem of getting too addicted is learning to control your emotions the day you have to face the fact that your awaited happy ever after with this dreamboy is never gonna happen. Look up!This is often said but it's true- there really are a lot of other fishes in the sea.

ok.. i went to the Ja Rule concert last night.. twas fun.. i went with martin, nikko and kevs..stig stig.. it was fun to hang out with them.. martin picked us up sa house mga 530..went to araneta but we hanged out at the mall first cause we were there early plus kevs wasnt there yet.. so we ate first and then went around the mall.. lol.. (pics are from mart's photobucket.. lol.. i havent uploaded my pics yet..pahiram kmart.. hahaha..Ü )

it was nice.. nikko and martin were dancing and all.. hahaha.. i was just trying to appreciate the thing my twin calls music.. lol.. im kidding.. nice din naman eh.. i just found myself trying hard not to lift my hand doing the rock sign.. hahaha.. i liked the songs lang with feats.. coz those are the only ones i knew.. but most of the time.. we were just guessing. lol. diba kevs?? hahaha.. we didnt know the lyrics and stuff.. hahaha.. rock parin! joke.>:) im looking forward to the ashanti concert.. that one id probably appreciate more. but dont get me wrong. .this one was great too.. its just that id probably know more songs that time.. hahaha..

after the concert we just ate.. i thought that we'd be able to hang out long.. but my dad reminded me that their flight tom. was at 4 am.. theyre leaving kasi for bohol.. so we had to get back early..

nikko and kevs ate BITC.. didnt feel like it so me and kmart got dimsum.. lol.. twas ok.. i got siomai.. marts got this assorted thing.. then i had this crabstick thing.. hahaha.. sorry i forgot the names.. so puro "thing" .. hahaha.. i ate the slowest. its not my fault i have braces on.. lol.. so by the time i finished my siomai everyone was done na.. but i still had this crabstick thing to eat.. so we got 1 each.. plus it didnt look that pleasing.. so i didnt wanna eat it by myself. lol.. so we all popped one in our mouths at the same time.. then found out after a few seconds of chewing that it was good pala.. hahaha..

10. She used to be my best friend. The salutatorian. The school hearthrob. THe leader with the ever so bubbly attitude, and yes, sometimes also the klutz! lol.. she's the born genius that can fix her hair all by herself and probably has the most changes of hairstyles in a day.. beat that! haha..

11. She's the girl with the inborn ribbon. Where? u figure it out. She's the one that found out that she could do a split by accident. She was the charming Jose Rizal and can be found shouting the loudest in praise of the Lord! YFC by hearT? yeah.. and a great friend toO! call her rich? how about owning a water company? hahahaha.. take that! She has adorable brothers who look just like her, plus her kuya's probably the crush ng bayan anyway! haha..

14. the pacman! rocked the dance floor during the prom! lol.. good badminton player an even better friend.. haha.. he thinks like a girl.. good thing doesnt act like one.. but sometimes he slips! lol.. its ok.. no one pretty was watching! safe pa attitude man! hahahaha..:) still stuck in his imaginary world playing badminton with the pros.. as in world champs.. hahaha.. and yes, he's soon gonna be my kind of neighbor.. hahahaha..:)

15. the confessed b&*c* who got an A in her conduct grade. Could you believe thaT?? wow! hahaha.. very fun to talk with around the waiting area although sometimes conversations could really turn evil. She's the money person. Probably because she has a lot money, and at the same time the money has her. LOl.. peace man! no karate chops!:P

*&^% some people aren't here coz i dont want them here.. hahahaha.. joke lang.. i honestly had a hard time choosing.. i positively missed some people out.. im sorry.. lol..hhmmm.. i only had 15.. anyways.. the people there are the ones closest to me naman din tlga.. i guess i needed more than 15. the other factor? things change right? *&^%

last saturday morning, we had to get up kinda early.. though we still didnt, we had to.. lol.. we only woke up when my mom said that James (nicco's former driver) was already in the house.. hehe..so there.. we all got ready to pick up my tita april and her boyfriend Pierre at the airport.. it was just me nikko kae benjo and andy.. lol.. and james.. yeah. they left the responsibility to the KIDS! hahahaha.. rooayt.. owel.. so there.. we got to the airport at around 11 30 something i guess.. at first james didnt wanna park at the parking lot so we went to the waiting place instead then when the time was up the guard asked us to leave and then james was like "pasaway na guard.. akala mo sa kanya ung airport" hahaha.. but he was just joking.. he was reffering to everyone that wasnt doing what he wanted as "pasaway" .. hehehe.. we heard a lot of those during our trip.. im glad we got james.. he's really kalog to hang out with.. hahaha.. so un.. after picking them up, cyempre a few kisses and handshakes and we were off to tagaytay.. particularly taal vista hotel.. that's where tita ada(my dad's sister and tita april's siter too) was staying coz they were having a seminar.. she works for UN.. so we went there so that tita april and pierre could freshen up.. take a shower and all.. at first we just dropped them at the entrance so that we could go to mcdonald's right across the street.. so we went.. we got take out.. got back in the hotel's parking lot.. ate in the car( it was fun that way) and before we were all done, nikko andie and benjo decided to go in the hotel so they left while i watched kae finish the rest of her taro pie.. hahahaha.. grabe nangiinggit pa.. haha.. so we decided to chill inside the car.. we didnt feel like going inside the hotel plus the fresh air was unbelievable.. lol.. i took pics coz it was a really nice place.. check 'em out..

but then a few minutes later, since it was so cold and i guess i had too much to drink, i realized i had to do # 1.. lol. so me and kae left the car.. we asked permission naman from james since it might be rude to just leave him out there alone.. we got all the mcdo junk and threw it in the trash can in the parking lot and got in the hotel..

we honestly didnt know the room number so i still had to ask the guy at the front desk.. so he was cool.. kind and all.. hehehe.. he looked really respectable.. he was probably in his mid 20s.. niice.. hhahaha.. so un.. we got to the room.. knocked on the door and we could hear andie and benjo snickering.. we kept knocking coz they wouldnt open it but they soon did when they found out it was us.. turns out that they werent opening it coz they thought that we were pierre and tita april (since they had the keys anyway) .. so we went to the bathroom.. we did what we had to do.. lol.. and they told us the plan..

they were gonna surprise the couple since they didnt know that we were in the room.. so we were supposed to hide inside the closet(just after the dooR) until somebody opens the closet.. that was their plan.. i was ok with that.. but i was dying to lie on the bed since i really felt bad.. i guess i was coming down with something but noooo.. nikko didnt want me to leave my place in the filled up closet.. yeah.. we were all stuck together.. nobody was allowed to leave until they discovered we were in there.. i was like.. but all we have to do is wait.. why do we have to wait in here? we're gonna hear them coming down anyway.. but it still didnt work.. i was stuck there standing up with a headache and with the overpowering smell of thinner in my head.. it sucked.. lol. but it was all worth it coz after a few minutes, we heard people talking.. so un naexcite ang mga bata.. andy was soo excited she started snickering.. lol.. until she couldnt control it.. seconds later we could hear tita april and pierre trying to open the door.. more people started snickering.. the couple was in the middle of their conversation when they entered the room, tita april first passing the closet, then pierre stopped right in front of it.. that got me snickering too.. then the snickering got louder and louder.. we couldnt help it.. lol.. then they stopped talking.. they were like.. "where is that coming from?" then they got freaked out so nikko opened the closet door and they were surprised.. lol.. surprisingly surprised.. they said it was freaky to hear snickers out of nowhere.. lol.. so yeah.. i guess that was a big ice breaker for pierre.. he's a good guy.. wish he serves my tita right.. lol.. we fooled around the beds .. lol.watched tv.. there was no better thing to do in hotels but bum out. hahahaha..











the view from the hotel was nice.. actually the hotel itself was really nice.. hahaha.. after the hotel we went to sonya's garden.. just to check out the houses..




lol.. the gardens were nice but james was hitting on the hardineras.. lol.. wink wink.. joke lang..:)

after going around tagaytay buying fruits, picking tita ada up and going to the hotel again, we went back to manila.. went to eastwood for dinner.. ate at something fishy.. then when we were almost done eating, benjo was like.. papa may mga taga abc sa labas.. then papa peeked then he saw it was roy's family.. lol.. he had to leave the table and say hi to tito herc and tita luchie so we all did.. haha.. it was cool i mean nicco and justin and mio and andrea and roy and his girlfriend and alex and their kuya and his girlfriend was there.. hahaha.. twas like a reunion.. twas cool.. ima see those guys in a little while anyway.. haha.. all in all it was a fun day/ night.. we greeted tita april at 12 am.. it was her birthday.. yey! hahaha.. too bad we werent able to buy a cake.. hahaha.. so there..:)

sunday was tulog kain tulog kain.. but i was able to go to mass and really focus and i was able to watch celine dion on oprah in a special on miracle babies then will smith was featured in parkinson right after that.. so twas nice! hahaha.. plus i was switching pa pala the channel to will and grace.. so that made up for it..

Pierre proposed to my tita in BORACAY!!! joY! hahaha..

today i got my card.. don't ask.. hahahaha.. it sucked.. owel.. im training later!! it all makes up for it!! im looking forward to it! Hahahahhahaa. :) yey!:) even though im sick and its taking up much of my resistance.. id probably drop dead during training.. lol. but its ok.. hahahhaa.. its better than seeing my card.. grrrr.. hahahha..
